Terms of Use

Quarterlife

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Agreement

These terms are between you and Zac Frulloni, publisher of Quarterlife ("we", "us"). By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

What the app is

The app delivers short original writing — one featured message a day, with widgets, reminders and saving. It is general encouragement for everyday situations. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it is not a substitute for professional help, and it makes no promise of any particular outcome. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or a local support service.

No account

The app does not require an account. Your settings and saved messages live on your device, so uninstalling the app or resetting local data removes them and they cannot be recovered by us.

What Premium costs

Prices outside the United Kingdom are set by Apple's equivalent price tiers and are shown in your own currency on the purchase screen before you buy.

Subscriptions

Free features

A daily message, basic Home and Lock Screen widgets, one reminder time, saving and light and dark appearance are free and stay free. Messages you have saved remain available to you if a subscription ends.

Content

All writing, artwork and design in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may share individual messages personally — that is what the Share button is for. You may not copy the library, republish it, or use it to build or train a competing product or model.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to interfere with the app or our delivery service, access it by means other than the published app, or use it unlawfully.

Availability

Reminders depend on Apple's push service, your network and your device settings, and widgets refresh on a schedule iOS controls. We cannot guarantee exact delivery times or uninterrupted availability. We may update or discontinue features; if we withdraw a paid feature during a paid period, you may contact us about a remedy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
